Vector Cutout Illustration

This project was to create a picture in Adobe Illustrator by creating shapes which would have a final outcome of appearing to be punched out of paper.

The bird in the illustration has no outline, but was instead completely drawn by cutting out negative spaces in the image. All of the spaces were created by drawing with the pen tool and using the pathfinder tool on top of a field of color after all of the pieces were completed. Deleting the shapes from the top of the color field creates cutout that could overlay another image as a PNG.
